Joerg Ellmanns

Joerg Ellmanns was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director for Bayer in Australia and New Zealand, and Managing Director of the Crop Science division in Australia in August 2018.

Joerg is proud to lead Bayer in Australia and New Zealand and is committed to innovating to improve the health and nutrition of people, plants and animals.

A dynamic and inspiring leader, Joerg invests heavily in people to develop a high-performance organisation and a thriving company culture, and has the proven ability to negotiate change.

Joerg joined Bayer as part of its business management training program in 1987 and has more than 30 years’ experience in life science industries, mainly in agriculture, with global leadership roles in Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. Previously, Joerg was the Head of Global Marketing and Head of Region North West Europe for the Crop Science division.
