4. Website analysis with Adobe Analytics

If you provide us with your consent, we use a web analysis service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland (“Adobe”) on our website to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on the website activities and to receive further services from Adobe in connection with the website and internet use. For this purpose, we use the cookies described in more detail in the above table. 7. Targeted Marketing with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Previously known as Pardot)

This Website uses a marketing automation system from salesforce.com Inc., The Landmark at One Market, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.The marketing automation system is called Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, previously known as Pardot.

Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is a software that records and analyzes the use of a website by website visitors. It sets first-party cookies for tracking and sets third-party cookies for redundancy. When you visit our Website, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement records your web use behavior and creates a unique pseudonymized identifier to store your web use records. This means that at this point, no personally identifying information is processed.

8. Subscription to our marketing communications

After you have subscribed to the newsletter on our Website, we will send you a message to the indicated email address asking for your confirmation. If you do not confirm your subscription, your subscription will automatically be deleted. In order to prevent any misuse of your personal data, we will log your subscription and confirmation, filing the IP address you use when subscribing, the time of your subscription and confirmation, the messages sent by us regarding your subscription, and the wording of your subscription and confirmation.

You may at any time with future effect withdraw your consent to receive our newsletter, in which case we will also delete your personal data connected to receiving our newsletter. To declare that you wish to unsubscribe, you may use the respective link included in all newsletters, or refer to the contacts indicated below (section contact).

In addition, we track the opening rate of our newsletter for statistical purposes. This means that a small transparent tracking image embedded in the newsletters. When you use your browser to open the received newsletter this image will be loaded, which will be counted as an opened email, and will be recorded in an aggregated form. No other data such as IP address would be processed. The tracking opening rates solution is provided by Marketing Cloud Account Engagement . You can disable the newsletter tracking functionality by disabling the loading of images within you email client or browser.

16. Overseas Recipients

Bayer is a member of the Bayer Group of Companies, a global organization with offices within and outside of Australia.

Information held by Bayer about you may in some circumstances be stored on Bayer databases housed in overseas locations including but not limited to Germany, China, Singapore, the Philippines and the United States of America. For example, in order to facilitate the receipt and payment of accounts, Bayer must transfer personal information overseas to the Philippines. All Bayer companies are committed to compliance with internal data protection policies which contain provisions substantially similar to the Australian Privacy Principles and in many cases to similar laws in the other jurisdictions.

Bayer also deals with external service providers located in countries within and outside of Australia, such as in Singapore, United States and Ireland and in such cases, Bayer takes reasonable steps, including by contract provisions, to ensure that these service providers do not breach the Australian Privacy Principles.

In light of the importance of protecting children's privacy, we do not collect, process or use on our website any information relating to an individual whom we know to be under 13 years old without the prior, verifiable consent of his or her legal representative.
