What is CropAlert?
CropAlert™ is a disease warning system offering a choice of two disease prediction models (blackleg and sclerotinia) for Canola. They are an aid to making effective decisions such as the tactical use of a foliar fungicide or estimating the risk of fungal infection from either of these diseases.
Understanding when risk of disease infection is high is important for a proactive disease control program in canola and CropAlert assists growers and advisors to do this. CropAlert uses daily temperature and rainfall inputs, sourced from BOM and WeatherZone for both models.
