The Moree Water Ski Club was successfully nominated as an ACFGC recipient in 2019 and used the $5,000 grant to invest in a new shelter for community spectators and visitors. This new shelter will further develop the Moree Water Park into a state of the art facility, capable of hosting water skiing demonstrations, tournaments and community events.
Since 2014, the Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities
(ACFGC) grant program has funded vital community projects that have addressed
rural mental health, early, primary and secondary education, the arts,
infrastructure, nursing and healthcare, food, disability and emergency
services.
