New herbicide answers the challenge in South East SA

Many growers across Australia used Mateno® Complete Herbicide in their wheat and barley crops for the first time in 2022.

In the South East region of South Australia at Kybybolite, Andrew Shepherd applied the Mateno Complete in his wheat crop at the early post-emergence timing to help combat the most challenging weeds in the area, capeweed and annual ryegrass. We visited him during the season to understand the results from applying Mateno Complete in his crop and its weed control effectiveness.
