Mullewa Farm Supplies and the Crop Science division of Bayer have donated $1,000 to the Mullewa Community Farm through the iGiveLocal Community Support Program.

Now in its fourth year, the iGiveLocal Program has to date donated over $100,000 to more than 190 local causes around the country.
The cheque was proudly presented by Glenn Bryant of Mullewa Farm Supplies to Peter Barnetson representing the Mullewa Community Farm with Ty Gronow of Bayer also in attendance.
The Mullewa Community Farm is a fundraising project where the funds raised from selling the produce are returned to local community groups with the aim that different community groups are supported each year. Some of the community groups that have benefited in the past are; Mullewa Aged Care, Mullewa Agricultural Show, Mullewa Rodeo, Mullewa Bowling Club, Mullewa St Johns Ambulance, Mullewa Polo-cross, Mullewa Tennis Club and Mullewa Wildflower Show.
Glenn Bryant said: “The Mullewa Community Farm has been able to put a lot back into the local community and despite the sterling work of volunteers it also relies heavily on donations like this one. We are delighted to be able to support the Farm in this way“.
Peter Barnetson said: “This donation is most welcome and will be used to help with the purchase of seed, fertilizer and herbicide in preparation for planting a crop on the Mullewa Community Farm“.
Ty Gronow adds: “This is a great initiative, close to our core business and something we are very happy to be part of“.
