Take the broadleaf
weed pressure off

Tigrex® Selective Herbicide

Tigrex is a very flexible herbicide with two active ingredients that provides robust, cost-effective control of susceptible wild radish and other broadleaf weeds in cereal crops and clover pastures. Renowned for its residual activity against wild radish, Tigrex also provides excellent control of other brassica and non-brassica weeds – many of them notoriously hard to kill. As a tank-mix product, Tigrex is compatible with a number of grass and broadleaf weed herbicides, allowing one-pass weed control in many situations. Tigrex also provides excellent control of many broadleaf weed in pasture situations.

2 Which surfactant/wetting agent should I use when applying Tigrex? It is not recommended that an oil or surfactant should be added to the spray mix when Tigrex is used alone. When mixing Tigrex with other products, use the recommended surfactant for the mix partner. Do not use surfactant when mixing Tigrex and Ally®. Do not use crop oils with Tigrex or Tigrex tank mixtures with other products in cereals. For more information please refer to the product label or contact Bayer Crop Science.
3 At what growth stage of the crop and weeds is the use of Tigrex recommended? Application timing depends on the crop sprayed. For optimal weed control in cereals, Tigrex should be applied to young, actively growing weeds from the 3 leaf stage of the crop through to late tillering. Use the higher rates of Tigrex when weed density or weed size in greater. At higher rates, application should be delayed until the 5 leaf stage of the crop. When using Tigrex in clover pastures, application is recommended prior to the eighth trifoliate-leaf stage. Applications prior to the third leaf stage may result in crop damage.
4 Which other herbicides can I tank-mix with Tigrex?  Tigrex covers a very broad spectrum of weeds on its own, however for additional weed or insect control chlorpyrifos (500 g/L), dimethoate, Ally, Glean®, MCPA LVE, Logran®, bromoxynil, 2,4-D Amine 500, Lontrel®, Tordon® 50-D, Cadence®, Eclipse®, Achieve®, Topik®, Targa®, Fusilade®, simazine, paraquat are physically compatible with Tigrex. For more information on mix rates, please refer to the Tigrex product guide.

6 Should I use Tigrex or Jaguar in my annual pasture?  It depends on which crops you plan to use the product on. Tigrex is best suited to clover based pastures. Jaguar is best suited to lucerne based pastures.
7 Can Tigrex be used on lucerne?  No. Tigrex will kill or severely stunt lucerne at all rates.
8 Can Tigrex be used near crops that are sensitive to hormone herbicides?  No. Tigrex contains a hormonal herbicide component and care should be taken to avoid spray drift onto sensitive crops.
