Annual ryegrass has been an issue over the last five years at Mentara Park in Malinong, South Australia. Without reliable control they experience significant yield impact in their cereal crops. Matt Howell from Platinum Ag Services, Meningie, commented, “We utilise Sakura® in the wheat phase of our rotation because of its reliability of control later in the winter and spring, in what is our highest risk of ryegrass blowout crops”.

Tim Eckert of Mentara Park agreed, stating that Sakura “improved quality come harvest time.” When discussing the  introduction of the 100 hectare (11.8 kg) Sakura WG pack this season Mr. Eckert said, “I believe it’s a good initiative, as it’s all about efficiency and productivity.”
